Engineering theory is combined with intensive workshop practice so learners can fabricate, assemble, weld, inspect and maintain components to internationally recognised standards, covering engineering drawing interpretation, fabrication techniques, manual and semi-automatic welding processes, metallurgy, welding inspection, quality assurance, engineering calculations and workplace health and safety.
